A man for all seasons, Freddy Friedman and his family have made their farm in New Marlborough home since 1996. In that time Freddy’s demonstrable love and commitment to community in the Berkshires has shown itself in many ways. He has either chaired or sat on nearly every town board in New Marlborough including the Conservation Commission, the Select board, the Board of Assessors, and the Solid Waste Committee, serves on several non-profit boards outside of the Berkshires. Like many, Freddy’s early professional life was spent in Manhattan.
His long tenure as a Realtor in the county stems from the pleasure he takes in meeting and helping people. His is a natural gift for bringing sellers and buyers together and transactions to a happy and satisfying conclusion. Freddy joined BIRCH in 2023 and is THRILLED to have the tech, platform, and support he needs to transact effectively on behalf of his clients. Freddy is so MANY things: ALL about land, all about farming, all about large animals (and small), all about zoning, all about the Northwest Corner of CT and the Southwest Corner of MA, when to hay and when not to, skiing (and instructing), who needs a summer job, Wednesday night gatherings at the Old Inn on the Green and breakfasts daily at the Southfield Store.
